I'm told its there a while now, dont know if this has been posted before but if someone you know is missing it its not far from me, the Guards know now anyway.

Pm me on here if yis happen to see one like it pop up in your area.

Hi Lads & Ladies,

Mine was stolen yesterday night

Make & Model: Suzuki Let's II DX

Colour: black & silver

Reg: 03LD570

Location Stolen From: Dublin City Centre

Approx. Time Bike was Stolen: 9/07/2007 1-6AM

Any distinguishing Features: sticker with "Let's II DX" (haven't seen it or other Let's Mopeds), front plastic broken, left direction light slightly broken

Scumbagz! But at least they won't have any profit as it's egzotic moped - ignition switch locked with magnetic key and no spares/parts for it in Europe. The sad thing is that I only owned it for one week - no insurance - and never ride it! Today I passed my provisional exam :)

Default Honda CBF 500 - Stolen - 08:30 10/07/2007

Hey all...
Long time no post, and pretty gutted having to write this:
My bike was stolen this morning (10/07/2007) from the Ashtown area, D15.

It was stolen from a secured underground carpark. I had an oxford chain on the back wheel, a disc lock on the front, and the steering lock was also engaged. The chain and disc lock were cut off.

Honda CBF 500
Colour: black
Reg: 05 D 44018

No super obvious scratches - but:
- left handside of the tank had a little chip/scratch.
- white scratch on the cowl (thingy over the rear wheel).
- minor scratches on the grab rails.
- Yellow paint on the screws (torque markings) on the front disc.
- approx 12,500k

And i just filled the tank :-(

Any sight or sound PM me!
thanks!

Hi lads, it's again about my stolen moped (prev. page). I wonder what to do now. I found ad on buyandsell with Suzuki Let's II moped. Seller states it's 2001 (mine was 2003), but: it mileage is 2k miles (same as mine), front plastic broken (same) and front brake broken (mine has rear broken). He said he has a logbook for it (hmm). I asked about reg. number, but he didn't answer. Now, it's ready to see in Longford (I'm in Dublin and can't travel now). Should I ask Gards to check it? Do they have right to do that?

Default Sold Secure/Thatcham shambles

www.almax-security-chains.co.uk
Wwatch the video! Allowing approved products through that can be cut quickly with little noise, is making it far to easy for the scotes!

ITV are showing just how easy it is to bolt crop approved locks and chains, they watched our video and invited us down to do a test. The products were Squire MC4 RiDE best buy, Abus Granit, Kryptonite Faghgettaoudit, cable locks and a couple of U locks.

The Irwins Record bolt croppers that Sold Secure test with 42", cut through the 5 min attack rated chains in under 11 seconds! What the hell is going on at Sold Secure and Thatcham?

Cable locks, armoured or not lasted seconds with machine mart cable cutters costing 27!!!!!!

D locks went again in seconds with the Irwins, its about time Sold Secure and Thatcham were sorted out!

Kryptonite who have a blog of their own, have implied to their customers that they are working with ITV, booooooolocks, they were only asked for a comment on the chain being cropped in 11 seconds (although its motorcycle GOLD approved). After a few difficult questions, they have now closed the blog to open posts. You now have to have questions filtered through a administrator.

I ain't selling my chains by the way, I am more concerned about the state testing by Sold Secure and Thacham. They were made aware by MCN 18 months ago of how the same croppers they test with were cutting chains seconds, even thogh they were approved to motorcycle GOLD 5 min.

They to this date, have not failed any of the products they witnessed being bolt cropped at MCN!!!!!!!!!!!! My god, how much knowledge does it take to use Irwin Record 42" bolt croppers.

Watch ITV (London/South East) 24th July 7.30 pm, Sky channel 993, or keep an eye out on youtube, as ITV are going to post it up.

It will show the most basic forms of attack used by scrotes, the chains were all locked tight to a bike and anchor point. All the products are approved and have sold in their thousands to people who have been mislead by the testing bodies. The truth is out, it has been for over 18 months, yet the testing bodies still continue to pass this crap, yes any chain can be cut, but it should force the scrotes to use power tools! Or at least make them resort to more risky methods than a pair of bolt croppers.

This is for you info, I would prefer you guys know the truth and complain to Sold Secure and Thatcham. I have tried, Martin White CEO witnessed this being done, I phone him numerous times and in the end he said my hands are tied and left Sold Secure shortly afterwards. At least he did the honourable thing, but surely a CEO should have the final say? If not, who is telling Sold Secure how to test?

Alex

This was a project bike stolen from the Navan Rd.

It's only worth 300 Euro as it barley runs/if even.

It wasn't locked, the seat is ripped and it's no where as clean as the one in the picture but looks similar. It's missing one of the side panels too and the exaust is a bit rusted.

(jesus the shit people would steal )

anyway, it's still wanted as it was a nice find as a first project bike
