Motorbike: Triumph Tiger 800
Modifications: Leovince,arrow map
Default Re: Bike Insurance in Ireland -How much do you pay?

19, Triumph Tiger 800, named driver on Dad's policy, he has licence but hasn't ridden in 20 years, insured it as named rider last year w/o no claims for 1200 gone up to €1900 for renewal this year even though I have 1 years ncb now. Have taken it off the road and am currently trying to pick up an rc390 or similar which I can start insurance on.
The thing I find crazy is how they can dip into your account. Forgot to cancel renewal as apparently it renews automatically and they took €1900 from my account, I'd say they catch a fair few people like this. Any automatic renewal system annoys the hell out of me. Playstation and xbox are the worst you buy a one month subscription and it boots you into a 12 month auto renewal system at end of month.
