Default What have I bought......

I saw this at a market, they were looking for 1000 euro for it.

Any idea of what it is or value.

FYI: I did walk away.

Extensive and detailed research involving careful use of the zoom button suggests a Mobylette. A blue one possibly.

For 300-400 maybe but a grand? For a moped with less power than an egg beater? The recession is well and truly over in your house!

And then only if it's got a book and runs well.
Could be a pain to get bits for it.

Ah don't hate the player lads.

That thing is worth a grand in jizz factor alone!!!

In a few decades we'll all be looking back thinking how we missed out on a badly constructed, baby blue bicycle that somewhat resembled a motorbike. A future classic, mark his words

Default Re: What have I bought......

Very difficult to put a price on bikes like these, there's probably not too many out there and whoever restored it, probably spent a few hundred on it...

So I guess it's up to how much you want to spend.

I personally wouldn't, but then again I don't see the point of having one and that's probably because I don't have enough cash to just have a bike laying around sitting pretty and getting no use out of it.
