Sam was brilliant around Skerries whether on the Honda 4, the Ryan Norton, the Suzuki or the RC 30. I remember him beating Philip McCallan, Robert Dunlop, Ian Galbraith, Jim Moodie and An Other in a brilliant Grand Final 1989 ? the year that he was killed Carrowdore. The An Other was a famous english racer. Can anyone remember his name.

The An Other was Andy McGladdery and from the name he may not have been english.
