I,ve never had a bike on a dyno, no need, when yer eyes begin to bulge and start to water then bleed and then feel like they are going to pop out you know its got plenty of power

If not get the 750, its a big enough jump.

By all means go and buy a 1000 but I reckon master a 750 then move up at some stage.
Ive owened a k6 750 and it was one of the nicest bikes to drive Ive ever been on.

I have a 1000rr now and still think some days the 750 would be better suited to most riding.

The k6 has a slipper clutch and gear indicator as standard which most 1000s didnt get till 2007/08.
Thanks for the reply Johnny b

Speaking with a bike mechanic and he sells bike to said the k5 and k6 750 give trouble with crank shaft snapping
Thats what puts me on two mines of the 750
If true thats what has me stuck on gixxer or blade

definitely bullshit, maybe crank figures, my k1 750 was 124 at the rear wheel and high 130's early 140's odd at the crank i was told, got told i shoudlnt have put a new chain on the day before the teka tune as it wasnt bedded in and and thus had more friction and hindered it, but thats maybe 1 bhp difference max. but with a power commander and kent/piper/ other model cams dialed in right you can see 136-138 at the rear wheel.
