Default Vfr400 nc30

Wanted for my sins a clean enough vfr400 nc30 with original fairings.

Looking for a good original example, not a show pony but a good usable bike.
Would prefer something starting, stopping and running in good mechanical nick and drivable.

Want to use it during this year then tinker over winter.

Lads who want silly money for these wont be getting it out of me but I will pay the right money for the right bike.

Would consider a heap if the price is right.... overall I want to put some miles on the road rather than hours in the garage though.

Have veiwed a few on done deal and so far havent found what I want.

If anyone has something to fit the breif or knows a mate who might part with one I would appreciate the nod.
The bike will go to a good home not someone who will flip for a profit when summer comes.

I have 4 bikes already, all on the road well looked after and minded... I dont need another but putting the feelers out.

Cheers, Johnnyb.

There's one up here I know off for sale. Lad spent a lot of time and money restoring it and his circumstances have changed which forces a sale. It's on ebay at the minute, from Newtownards. Hope this helps.

Cheers vic, I saw that one.
I dont know his circumstances but he wast 3.5k sterling for a restored then crashed vfr.
Its a lovely bike but needs another 800e at least to get it back 100%.

Im looking for a good road bike, that one is nearly to clean to drive!

My guess that bike would be a lot more than £3.5k +800. Don't think I've ever seen one for sale that I would say is to good to ride and I've seen a lot of them.

This looks clean, its the expensive side of the market though.

I have an nc30 which will probably be up for sale soon, 92, rode on the weekends for a year and ran great for 6000km I put on it, I rebuilt the forks, both front calipers and gave it a good tidy up when I got it. Not mint but it's clean... Was getting a little hot in traffic last time I was on it so am getting round to checking that out. Seems it's got a blank frame as the vin has only a few digits roughly stamped (no grinding or anything dodgy) but it may be an off put to some. Thought about keeping it but I've a new bike now and not alot of space, so I'd probably let it go.
