Default Harry Lindsay

Just heard that Harry Lindsay has died. Anybody connected with the sport during the 60's will know how much he contributed over the decades. He will be missed - another good man gone !

I wasn't around in the 60's so I have no idea who he is, but we all gotta go sometime, make the most of it while you are here. Promote motorcycling anyway possible, get out and enjoy the bike and the biking community and stay away from bullshit, wont be long going in

I bought a new Vincent off him in '62 thru woodchester finance, his grandfather built one of Ireland's few motorbikes the ' Celtic Rover ', had a big auction for his collection a few years back incl. a Brough Superior & Vincent Black Shadow.

Rumour has it that Sykes from here ended up with his Vincent for half the price of a weekend abroad in Majorca, could be lies though,. some great stories in his book ;

RIP Dude.

Spot on Jackster, the shop was at 25-26 Great Ship Street, he had the Irish agency for Bultaco (and maybe Frantic competition bikes), also for NGK spark plugs
