Big bus but they sound glorious when you open the taps, that 6 cylinder howl is quite unique.

Have ridden both the GTL and the Bagger, the Bagger was the better bike.

My father has one, he went up from the new model R1200RT to it, says it's an easier and much better ride. He's has 3 Goldwings and wouldn't rate them at all against the GT. Has it 2 yrs, didn't buy it new, and barr consumables, it's been fine.

Yeah but that 6 cylinder engine and when you gas it, it sounds like an old F1 cage and the roundy badge on the front and not waving at people......
Still would love a go on one. If I had loadsa money I would consider one and when it breaks down I'd just get jeeves to come outwith a van and pick me up...

Had a go on one. Loads of go from the motor and it handles well for such a big bus. Amazing weather protection too but alas I don't have deep enough pockets for BMW's anymore.
Honda ll the way for me

Guy up the road from me has one with Remus cans on it. Amazing sound off it. They look like fun to ride, but as mentioned resale/trade in value takes a hammering as I've discovered with my K1300.

has anyone seen the new BMW Bagster?

Silly question, especially on this site, but does it really look as awful as the picture in the newspaper?
Its essentially the same as the 1600 k, apparently set up to perform like a sports tourer, but look like one of those American bagsters

Surprisingly nimble for it's size and weight. Can easily keep up with the one litre boys .
There's so much torque it just pulls effortlessly .

Beauty in the eye of the beholder, I think they are weapons of yokes, love the bagger look on something so utterly modern, the Honda wing bagger is also cool looking.
