Default Annual Toy Run for National Childrens Hospital Tallaght

Hi folks, it's coming to that time of year again!

Just to let you know the annual Toy Run to Tallaght National Children's Hospital is taking place on Sunday 16th December. Meeting place is the Spawell Texaco station on the N81 (just off the M50) for 11:30am.

After a quick spin through town (making as much noise as possible!) we'll stop off for a coffee and chat at Northern Cross. Then off to the hospital to arrive for around 3pm to hand over the pressies. Grab a cuppa and a bite to eat courtesy of the folks at Tallaght NCH and then we'll wind things up around 4pm.

It's a great cause and really helps out the kids who have to spend their Christmas in hospital - if you can't make it then just drop off a wrapped pressie instead.

We'll have a few prizes for the best dressed biker and best decorated bike - so dig out the tinsel, fairy lights and elf suits!

Pop the date into yer diary andspread the word around. For updates, search BookFace for 'Toy Run for Tallaght National Childrens Hospital' and please share the Event to friends and foes alike

Cya on the day!

There's plenty of toys and Christmas bits for sale in Aldi/Lidl these days, wooden toys, colouring bits, all sorts of stuff that help keep kids a bit happier whilst having to stay in hospital over Christmas

There's even Santa and Elf costumes in Lidl next Monday if ye plan on dressing up for the run!

Sponsorship not required
Just bring a toy on the day suitably wrapped and marked as suitable for a boy or girl and approximate age group.
If you can persuade any of your friends or colleagues to buy a small toy that you could bring I am sure it would be appreciated by the children in the hospital.
Just turn up at Texaco, Spawell on the day at 11-00 approx
Good fun on day

Hi Barbra,

No need to have any sponsorship, just bring along a wee pressie for the kids and that's all ye need. Feel free to dress yerself and the bike up with as much tinsel/lights/decorations as ye want - the more the better!

It's a nice easy spin on the day, just a spin through town to Northern Cross for a cuppa and a chat, and then back to Tallaght Childrens Hospital to hand over the pressies (and get more tea!)

Don't forget to pimp ur ride for the occasion ;-)

I have a sleigh. Could be towed by dyke or very big bike.
