Default Toy Run for Refuge

I just heard Rathmines women's refuge is now closed. I'm wondering if the toy run orgainisers are aware of this.
I'm aware that there is a lot of sentimental value on this run for people who were friends of Aiden who ran it.
So just raising awareness of this if youse knew already, sound. . Is there any alternative destination.?

Ah great to hear it's only temporary - tis one of my favourite runs of the year. They probably need to extend the room for all the stuff that arrives each year!!

Read article in todays independent.ie that the refuge is closed till early 2018.
Sad that such a valuable service has to be shut for 'electrical repairs' you would think in this day and age that its possible to work around a place.
And vulnerable women and kids being denied a service till April.

The wellcome the staff and ladies gave everyone last year was unreal.Seeing all the kids chasing Santy around all over the place was the best memory of the day for me last year.

Oh yeah, the rearset/gear shifter linkage decided to part company with my bike half way through town.

Cable ties and insulation tape to the rescue.
