Well the kit I have my eye on for my own comes with several different tubes that reduces the travel by a certain percentage from stock, so you can change to an action that best suits your needs. From mild to slightly less so. But you do pay for the level of choice.

Yours does sound like a bit of a switch. I never felt like the SV needed a QA, probably down to the fuel injection. You might find that the 675 is the same and the stock action will be spot-on for your riding style.

I think the standard sv definitely needs one. It's definitely a 2 grabber for full throttle.

For sure...
Needs it as much for ergonomics as performance...

Fit the 1050 speed triple throttle and will be fine thts what i plan on doing and everyone else seems to have and no issues.

I cant get full throttle on standard with one twist either and is a pain sometimes just too much play in it and need to double twist nearly to get it fully open which takes concentration away from driving.

ive broken my right wrist twice so find a 1/4 turn throttle perfect for preventing aches in my wrists, was alot of getting used to at first when pulling off, but that passed after a few hundred km, once used to it, i wouldnt go back, plus saves the double grab of throttle for wot.

That's what's on it - and wherein the problem lies my good man

edit - as an aside, had a mate take a run on it today. Says there's fk'all wrong with it, it's purely down to me

Strange. Never bothered me on the 650. It's the 1200 I find lacking!
