In fairness that doesn't look too bad....
Usually electric jokes look pure muck but that looks like a cbr300.

There's no chain and only a wire going to the rear wheel so the battery is in the frame and the motor must be in the rear wheel.

I'm not saying it's something you would buy but design wise that could be a goer.
If that was from any of the big jap names at that price lads would be queuing up for them.
The problem with Chinese companies is parts, follow up and servicing.

I swear it was an electric motorbike - a proper one - that silently cruised past me up the Malahide Road the other evening. I'm looking forward to the day where half/three-quarters of the vehicles on the road are e-bikes. Get the fat BMW SUVs out of here!

If it takes crap like these poorly-made knock-offs to start the trend, then so be it. This might be one of the few instances where the ends justifies the means.

It's not fair to dismiss a bike I haven't even seen as junk, but I'm doing it anyway.

If it encourages more people to consider riding a bike, then even if its cheap shit, its all good. We need more bikes on the road, not less.

It will take a while for electric motorcycles to be sorted out to the degree that most motorcyclists would find acceptable, but as soon as the sort out range, handling, design etc, all that torque that an electric motor provides that can never be matched by an IC engine is going to make most of us drool in maybe 5 years time.

all new petrol and desiel cages will be banned for new sales in 2030, under project Ireland 2040.

Bike related, remembering whatever the UK does this Country mostly follows
The country's Environmental Protection Administration plan would ban all sales of nonelectric motorcycles and four-wheel vehicles by 2035 and 2040, respectively.

As hard as it is to fathom, could this be the end of new model gixxers and blades etc? from 2030-2040.

there is a global geographical aspect to it to keet the global temp increase to 2deg c max with a serious aim to 1.5deg c and by 2060 to actually have the co2 and other greenhouse gasses like no2 to be on a decreasing annual level to get to pre-industrial levels, also land use, deforestation, urbanisation, food supply and a heap of others in included,

having a new petrol powered 2051 C registered gsxr thou is no good if the road you want to drive her on is 300mms deep in sea water and the air you breathe is toxic.
