Default MidWest Overnighter 2018

Ok - ignore that last thread, starting again...

This year's overnighter is 14th/15th July...

Waterford is the destination, staying here - http://www.thebarleyfieldwaterford.com/about-us/

All the single rooms are gone so it's sharing only - 50pps...

Route to be confirmed closer to the time...

Add your name to the list...

There are a couple of scenic routes from Galway to Waterford - let's plan to stay off motorways and stop for lunch somewhere fancy. With tablecloths.

Most of the Mid-West crew are too old, middle class & pampered for camping these days

D'ya hear him?! He's the only old posh one, the rest of us are normal lads in our twenties and thirties just looking for any opportunity to sleep in a damp field with a hangover. Slowpoke is all about the five-star luxury, don't mind him.

No idea about camping - take a look into it if that's your thing

No problem if you wanna come along for the spin and stay elsewhere

Had a look see..... not much camping options available in the centre of Waterford City..... suppose I could hang a hammock between 2 traffic light poles......NOT!

Right who wants to share? I promise I'll stay on the bottom and bring ear plugs.

Plenty of time for that - will see what the final numbers look like closer to the time and take it from there...

Joe McGonagle and The Northern Southerner - you guys still up for this?

Looks like Tramore would be the closest bet.

then you have the problem of bike parking. If you are going into Waterford to enjoy a few scoops with the lads, would you trust leaving a bike unattended in tramore, add to that how are you going to get to waterford and back if you have a drink on you.

Wexford was a goer for me but it looks like waterford is not going to be an option unless there was a good few here that would stay in Tramore for the night so that we could make a good night of it.

It might work, we could remain with the main group during the day and then split when the night comes in.
