Do you have lights on the dash today? If so, is the side stand up? Is it neutral? Sorry if I'm asking stupid stuff but you never know! Has the kill switch accidentally been engaged? You based in Blackrock Dublin? Or Cork?!!! I'm just down the road if I can offer any help

Fing forgot to bring a Philips with me. My mate had one when we disconnected her last night I think that is now the problem! The odo etc is coming on just fine but when I press the starter, nada. Doing it over and over again. Thought I got them pretty tight with the key, but not tight enough, methinks. Or it could be something more serious.

try simple stuff mentioned

while the bike is "on" and you have clock lights etc, press the high beam pass button, if the dash is fading, its most certainly the battery. Easy fix.

remove negative cable first ( black ) , then the positive ( red ) - to install a new bat, its red first then black second.

Obvious things first... You didn't get them tight enough with a key. You need at least a decent screwdriver or a 10mm socket/spanner.
Tighten them properly then try again.

I'm in Donnybrook / Stillorgan. Have screwdriver, willing to travel! Not much on this afternoon, so If you need a hand give me a shout. Best of luck.

I'm after investing in a new battery, so we'll see how that goes. I'll be popping out later this afternoon.

Why couldn't it have happened at the house! Or the right side of the city! Ah well.
