Just thought I'd bump this up again. Very easy now. No need to go driving around the country.

Anti doping - Anti-Doping Sample Collections Procedures - Urine and Blood
https://elearning.sportireland.ie/login/index.php

Licence Form - http://www.motorcycling-ireland.com/...18%20Final.pdf

Flag Seminar - Just Read and sign the application form http://www.motorcycling-ireland.com/...gs-Seminar.pdf

Pay Online - http://www.motorcycling-ireland.com/pay_online.htm

Only thing you have to do is join a club which you can do by calling anyone of them and making payment. Being bias the Irish Sidecar and Racing Club is a good one at just a tenner. You can join and pay here https://www.irishsidecars.com/membership

Job done in no time.

I don't think there's any cut off the mcui will take your money anytime of the year.

But you can do it all on line and get it now if you need it.

Don't think so. I think there's only one assessment day planned for this year.

Only one assessment day is planned for this year. Entries for it are light at the min, so the chances of another one being run are very slim. If you're a newcomer, or your licence has been out for 4 years or more, you'll need to do this one before you can get your race licence. There will be no assessments for a race licence done on trackdays later in the year. So unless there's a flood of entries, it's this or nothing.

Fair play! Was a heap of newcomers the last two years but alot of lads are using it to get access to test days and trackdays?

I'd say a lot of lads have applied for the licence but haven't applied for the assessment yet. Still, more than a few didn't get their licence last couple of years because they missed the only "Race licence assessment day". A lot of lads got it confused with the "Track training day".

Application sent in for the assessment day, March can't come fast enough!

Is there an assessment on track in the afternoon or is that just a test day after the morning classroom session?
