Fairly manky coming out of the city centre. Like a wind tunnel coming up Camden Street and Portobello.

Do you need to take a road that is so exposed to the elements, think the N roads would be safer with protection from the trees and ditches

Struggled a bit on the way home tonight. Bike was threatening to go from under me all the way. Took M1 slow and steady, and it was manageable as long as kept leaning to the left into the wind and stay behind slow traffic in the left lane and try and stay on the left 1/3 of my lane. Off M1 and on R132, wind got worse just north of Julianstown, and the dim person in a cage driving right behind me didn't help either. Eventually near that Piltown turn off where on the left you have this large open field with no hedge cover, wind pushed me out of my lane, into the right turning lane and eventually had to pull over at the wrong side of the road - no oncoming traffic for good 150-200 meters, so that was okay, but it was still a BTM (brown trouser moment) all the same.

Is it going to be breezy like this tomorrow as well? If so, I might be taking the bus/train.

Anyone out on the bike today?

Yesterday wasn't as bad as Monday, but this morning I went out and was blown all over the road, gave up, turned around and decided to work from home.
