Default Another fine day for it

Met up with Mikey H this morning & we headed west. Macroom-Ballyvourney-Glenflesk-Headford-Rathmore-Knocknagree-Ballydesmond-Newmarket-Kanturk-Mallow & back home. Weather was ideal for a spin, but I must say that the roads left a bit to be desired in places A few pics from Newmarket

That shed is a bit of a time capsule alright, Joe. Some fine '80s classics in there including several two-strokes. He must be buying them cheap because he could hardly afford to sit on that much stock for so long if they were costing him a lot of money in the first place.

AFAIK Fred the bikes are a minor sideline to hourigans, they more or less own the town.
And what you see in the shop is only a part of the bike collection, loads more stored elsewhere, lots of brit stuff too,or so i was told.

That's true,and I wasn't knocking them,but i don't think bike sales are their main source of income.
A lot of the stock is on the expensive, perhaps overpriced side, and they have a rep of being tough to deal with in regards to haggling.

I bought 1 or 2 bikes from them .many moons ago good clean honest bikes , they have a good name and their second hand bikes are all good quality. I suppose you get what you pay for. as said there around a long time.
