Default Hagerty Harley Rebuild

I dunno how they film this stuff but it makes for addictive watching even if it is a harley.

Good vid. That'd be about 2 years of work and at least a dozen 'WTF do I do with this bit' threads on various forums for me .. :)

(Sad, but the one thing it left me with was absolutely no doubt that with no more than about 20-30 parts or so in an electric motor, and the scope that gives for companies to gut the whole manufacturing and supply chain - that's where we're going whether we like it or not.

its not that bad , as in ive seen pistons in half .
they are fickle enough , air leak on intake is common, timing off (points or retro fitted leccy ignition) , over reving,, neglected oil change/oil pump splines worn/broke, theres a number of things could have started the process.

I thought it was a dropped/broken piece of valve that was then made to run and smashed the shit out of the alu piston. Or maybe just very bad corrosion??
