Default Lidl Battery Charger

I see there's a trickle charger in the specials of Lidl at the minute, 20euro.

Probably guna pick one up for the winter hibernation, anyone pick one of these up in the past? any good?

You can indeed - just see what connector is coming from your charger - either SAE or TM, then search/order lead you want from wherever you like.

I have two bikes with the attachment, plus the lead with croc clips for batteries not currently in use

Never mind the hype about Optimate chargers being the best.

I have Optimate and CTEK chargers. I used Optimate for years, then when CTEK chargers came on the market I bought a couple to try out.
I still have an Optimate and 2 CTEK chargers but if I was in the market for a new charger, I'd buy a CTEK over an Optimate all day long. They're a superior charger for less money.

A lot of seriously high-end cage manufacturers only sell CTEK chargers for their cages

Went ahead an bought the Lidl one anyway!

Had some problems with my bike starting yesterday so left it on charge overnight. Nice digital display shows the Voltage of the battery.

Obviously this is only the first use so may die tomorrow, but cant complain so far

...I can complain about me SV650s still not starting tho

Did you charge the battery while in the bike or disconnected the battery from the bike first?

Managed to get her up an running with a generous spray of carb cleaner down the intake hadn't been ran in a while, probably just needed a bit of help
