Default O2 sensor too short!

Gonna fit a full system to my crf rally and apparantly because itís a closed loop ecu I will need to refit the o2 sensor unfortunately as I was hoping to scrap it.
The routing of the new pipe is different so the wire for the sensor is too short to reach, so what I want to know is can the wires be extended or because itís a sensor am I better off not? And if it canít be extended will a sensor from another Honda Fit as long as connectors are the same?

The actual cable wonít reach to the new system. The diameter of the pipe should be the same so the sensor should fit in ok

Can you not just get it disabled via the ECU (mototuning.ie) and junk the sensor?

could you move the ecu ?, if its not too far, maybe reroute a couple of cable runs and get the ecu nearer to the pipe?

That would not be the cheapest option as Iím not gonna gain any real power from the full system anyway. So probably better off refitting the sensor

Fit an O2 eliminator,it'll just run the bike in open loop and keep the MIL light off, here's a link but I've no experience with these lads, bit of research and you'll figure out which ones got the best results http://www.magnumtuning.com/en/detai.../honda/crf250l
