Default wheelies

My young fella asked me last night what is the longest wheelie i ever pulled. He was quite shocked when i told him i have never done one. his reply was "well why do you have a motorbike"

most cagers think bikers are crazy speed fanatics that go everywhere on the back wheel at 150mph.

Im curious to know how many people have never had the front wheel up. either by mistake or on purpose?

and yes many of you will think this is a silly topic but i am curious

Iv had the front up a few times unintentionally not often as 16st over the tank helps with keeping it on the ground. Im doing well to keep it going on both wheels i reckon. Voted no as iv never intentionally lifted or tried to carry the front.

Accidentally upon fast acceleration, sure. Mr. traction control will only let me go "so far", so they're controlled wheelies anyways.

But I've never even tried to do clutch up wheelies or stuff like that. Don't see the point, so many things can go wrong so quickly!

But hats off to the ones who can, it definitely looks freakin' awesome

Cheers,
Rami

Nearly died doing jumps about 13 years old. fed threw tube for a month or so. swore I would keep the two wheels on the ground after that but............
I was heading to work a couple of years back on pan 11 (not noted for its wheelies) and three lads who fancied themselves as tough decided walking in front of the approaching bike to be smart ( with their hands buried in their jocks of course)
So being in a grumpy form, I bent back the throttle and flicked in the clutch a bit.
Jayzus I surprised myself as much as them, A nice big straight wheely.
Pricks ran like rabbits !!
But I think I burst my fork seals as they were weeping later that day
So thats it no more wheelies//////

Was a lot of fun long time ago.
Ended up when, certain I have this mastered, I went onto tram tracks in rain.
I still have scar from stitches on my elbow from this (but it was actually second time I saw my own bone with own eyes )

Never intentionally. Hadnt the balls when I had the 750. The wheel would lift accelerating hard but only in first and second and it barely lifted to be honest. The 450 has come up on me in the field a few times but I always let off the throttle to get it down. Id love to learnthough

By accident, powering-on on my FireStorm over a crest. I'd love to be able to do good ones deliberately. But not really bothered enough to risk binning my bike.

When I was younger I worked on it for a while. I managed to f**k up a few chains and sprockets, but I didn't ever get to the stage where I was comfortable pulling a wheelie.
