Nice one mate. I might need it now.
Tried plugging the puncture last night, first with the foam in a can which was utter shite as expected.
Next tried a bikeit plugging kit but could not get the plug in thru the hole, 3 plugs tried and gave up after that.

Anyone know a better option as a plugging kit? The bikeit one seemed rubbish and I cant see how anyone could get their plug in thru a small puncture hole.

Use a philips screwdriver or something to make the puncture hole big enough to get the plug into. The device for pushing the plug in usually does that job

Yeah, it does that job but the plug in this kit was very wide, they seem shite and youd need some force to get them thru.
Gonna try a different kit.

You need to make the hole bigger with the reamer that comes with the plug kit.

The same happened to me when trying to plug a tire until I got aggressive with it.

If you don't make the hole big enough you will just keep mincing the plugs.

Good luck

Ah I could have them fitted elsewhere Im sure, but its getting it there thats the issue.
I dont have the means to transport it myself, so once I pay someone to do that, it wont make much difference if its cotters or elsewhere I reckon.

You didn't need to be a mechanic to remove and re-fit a wheel.

I know, that's why I said a chimp could do it. It's taking off a wheel mate not rebuilding an engine.

A YouTube video would show you it's literally a 5 minute job

If you need to get the wheels off and take them somewhere your more than welcome to use my abba stand, it holds both wheels off the ground, so you can take both off at the one time and leave it there, I have it near blessington too, offer is there and im in no rush for it back.
Also have one of the mushroom plug kits if you need any of them.
