Would a VFR 750 / 800 engine fit in one of those ? Could be a cheap RC30'alike.

Cheers, been a fair bit of work in there. Brembo discs, calipers, last cyls, updated suspension, RC30 torsion linkage, endurance bodywork, blah blah- the list is very long! But end result is worth it.
Cans were alloy but I got the carbon Kevlar sleeves made and reserved them myself.

People have fitted 750 engine to them, height under the tank is an issue for the airbox. The 400 hauls my 16 stone along with plenty of piff.
