[QUOTE=John h;3496400]Not complaining I know it takes a lot, just adds up over the day with food and drinks up there, brought the girlfriend to her first rr and it was an expensive day
Anyway good day for season closer

you need to do a bit of prep
first 20 is best value day out you will ever get and lads/lassies risking their necks at 150 /170 MPH Kids are free

went to supervalue Deli around 9 after allready having my brekky at B&B
two sandwiches , 2 yougarts, Jam Doughnuts, crisps all for less than 10 squid all set for the day only had to buy a few coffees
plus your not eating chipper van stuff, allright once and a while but if you go racing regular you get sick of the chipper food

Fair point, bringing the lunch seems to be the way to go, never think of it on route, chipper food is usually muck at roads for some reason, spoilt from Mx events the discerning harley rider with tassels and tatts making mutual hitherto suggestive eyebrow movements while looking for friendship and maybe more, n chips is the treat after a long day

Packed lunch, wet gear / umberella, some form of seat arrive before roads close and when micko sweeneys bike deafens you- you won't even remember you handed 20 quid in and 5 for the program...another thing occured to me , with a fee like that, fans will pay it even if it hits hard... but the type of character who's made a scourge of himself from the minute he was conceived...he might go elsewhere. So no horsing around during races, tormenting marshals, throwing things on the track for the craic of it, and that's nearly worth paying for..
