I attended this event, and it was well worth it. The vintage car and classic bike racing was first rate, and there was a spectacular fly past of light planes, they swooped down over the main straight, skimming over the footbridge with inches to spare , A good display of old vehicles in the paddock, plenty of stands, autojumble, etc. Plus free entry to the mondello museum, and that's a visit not to be missed. Definitely will go again next year

Please spare a thought for Fran Fletcher, who passed away while racing a classic race in Brands yesterday. She raced a Honda K4 and production 600 with the Classic Racing Motorcycle Club (CRMC) UK . She did a 4 hr Donington endurance classic race recently . She was a mature rider .
