Default Cbr f2 engine into F3 Frame

I have a 98 car 600 f3
Origional f3 Engineto f##ked
I came across an f2 engine which I will be putting into the f3 frame

Anyone do this before and any problems they encountered.
Also could the electronic speedo sensor mount be cut out of the f3 engine and welded to the f2. But if precision work but i don't see why not as i want to have a working speedo

Any info on problems and solutions..?

Thanks in advance

For a working speedo look at aftermarket electronic kit. Its inexpensive, runs off magnets in your front wheel and you're not hacking into an engine case.

very few differences between the two engines, ram air on carbs on the f3 and the f3 cams are essentially f2 hrc cams so the f2 has a little less bhp

I will be using the F3 carbs and air box so I will still have the ram air .
Is the cam shaft sensor the same in both engines..?

Neither has a cam shaft sensor, but if you're referring to the pick up sensor they may be different
