Thumbs up Anyone get out today?

A neighbour texted me a link to the Galway bike fest today at 1pm so I jumped on the bike and went over. Got a bit wet, didn't really hang about and went for a run round, I don't really know tbh, but it were superb. Found some cracking little roads past Loughrea and over to Shannonbridge. Deserted, cracking roads

Galway to Chelsea and back in a day

Normally I would have but me fingers got caught in the lawnmower blade and it was very sore.
Was sure when I took off the flimsy glove I would be missing a bit but they are all there with a big slice in one.
I'm such an idiot.

Burren is a bit sparse of grass.......were you down in Doonbeg then??

I saw a guy trim his toenails with a lawnmower once. Fairly effective and in his case a permanent solution on one toe.

Moral of the story is always wear shoes cutting the grass and keep your finger out.

Get a tetanus jab for it and don't take the view its all right, you know what goes in grass and the machine chops it up.

Bought a fan in England before I moved over here. It got faulty and they said I could only swap or refund if I sent it back to the UK. Bollox I'll take it,,, 304 mile round trip,, cost me more in juice. Worth it, blimey what a ride up to Lurgan

Thumbs up Re: Anyone get out today?

Stunning Galway Sunday morning, out at 9. From Ahascragh to Ballindine then up the N17 for a bit to Kiltimagh and across to Ballina, Killala, Downpatrick Head, Belmullet, Blacksod, Bar an Tra, Crowmore Lake, Bangor, then possibly one of the best road I've ever been on to to Mulrany, over to Newport, Castlebar, Claremorris, Ballindine and back for beers and barbie at 6
One bit was about 10 miles lidless, only other person I saw was a farmer on a Stepthru doing the same thing. Almost deserted the whole part from Ballina to Mulrany, felt like I had it to meself. Perfect weather, perfect roads and the perfect bike. I hope the pics do it justice. I could have stopped a thousand times and took ten thousand pictures

Took the Mutley to Rosso Ducati for its service today and they gave me this thing for the day.

I thought it were a cracking bike and enjoyed me day on it, but I wouldn't swap it for the Mutley. Went down the coast as much as I could to the edge of Wexford, I think. Then went and broke me Wicklow Mountain, Sallygap duck.

Alright up there innit
