Are they good and waterproof?
Would they hold out heavy rain like of late?

I bought that exact Ixon gimp jacket and the Summit gimp pants to go with them about 9 months ago. I've worn them practically every day since - daily 20 minute commute to work and a good few ride outs at the weekends.

The jacket is holding up okay but I find in rain I'll end up with a wet patch on my stomach and if there's anything in your pockets it's guaranteed to be wet or at least damp (I destroyed an Iphone in 10 minutes in moderate rain when it was in my pocket). It's fairly warm even on cold days though.

The pants are ripping at seams and have a good few holes in them at this stage. They don't seem good quality and the knee protection is cr*p.. they slip down the pants and end up sitting way below your knee no matter what you do.

The jacket is alright but the pants are kak!

The above Ixon textile jacket won't keep out heavy rain.. it can deal with light/moderate but you'll be getting wet in heavy stuff!

Be careful buying Ixon online anywhere, their sizes can be a fair bit off.
Great leathers, as good as Alpine Stars, but just be careful with the sizing.
