You'll need your passport and flight tickets. Just pop into the press office, it's on the way in at the main entrance. Tickets are 25 stg each so it will save you 100, basically pays for the trip if you're just popping over for the day.

If they liked the RDS then they'll love the NEC, very well set up and much better than the Dublin show.

If you see any bike parts or gear you like then dont be afraid to haggle with the sellers at the show. Ask for best price and then haggle hard. Worked for me.

For any of the lads who have been there In previous years.

Would you have enough time to see everything in one day or would you need 2 days?

You will see it all in a day.

Get the 1st Ryanair flight out in the morning and then a flight back about 7-8pm. Airport is right beside the NEC and a shuttle train takes you there for free in under 2 minutes.

Would you call it a train? More like a monorail/cable car.

I've gotten the mid morning flight out from Dublin and back in evening. You'll definitely see in that time.

Theres an adventure coarse indoors where you can test ride the BMW and Triumph bikes at slow speed. You will be getting gawked at by everyone though.

Last couple of years I have gone mid week to avoid the weekend crowds and you can relax and cover the entire show in one day.
