I also had to tell them I got epilepsy last year and handed my license in for a full year.

Axa 275
quick question regarding epilepsy (tell me too fuck off if you want)
im assuming you had too declare you had epilepsy when you renew your licence ? did you need too tell the insurance company also ?
or did the doctor sign you off too say your grand with no seizures for 1 year ?

I surrendered my license for 1 year and after being seizure free for a year a neurologist and go signed me back on the road.
I had to tell all my insurance as they call it non disclosure and won't cover you in the event of any accident.

Got mine the other day,
33, full licence, 9+ NCB, '03 Fazer 600, Comp
Principal 220 (actually gone up 3 cent the feckers )
AXA 581 (wow!)
CN 320
I didn't bother with the other ones, happy enough with Principal

Again, cage is up a few days before the bike, last year was 600, this year is 1800, fuck that! Only did 2,500 km on the car last year and about 24,000 on the bikes. Makes zero sense.

Ah, jaysus... this reminds me that I have to renew before the weekend and I'm dreading the moment already.

We'll see what sort of madness they throw my way this year....

Heard about it alright man but didn't think anything came of it. Just glad I got the test done on the Hornet. After getting a quote on the Liberty site there two mins ago for an R6... Didn't expect that

How much on the r6 ? Did you just walk away from the bike that was robbed or did you inform the insurance company ?

Took out a policy today for 869 on a restricted ER5 which I bought yesterday. 21 years old. Learner permit. 0 NCB. An expensive hit to take but it's really not that bad given I only have my permit less than a month

With Carole Nash I should add. Cheapest I could price. Rang Liberty, Principal, MCE. Axa wouldn't quote me.

My car insurance renewal arrived way too high (100% higher than my bike insurance...).
Is there ANY insurer that recognizes motorbike as a second vehicle and gives discount for that? Most recognize and offer discount on a second CAR, but is there any that discounts for the other vehicle = motorbike?

Walk away?! Fuck that! I'm only on bikes 6 months so I've no NCB. I've a claim open with Carole Nash for it. They wouldn't quote me on an R6 but Liberty did. Possibly because I've 10 years NCB with them in a cage, not sure. Either way I'm on an R6 as of yesterday and it's about 800 when I pay monthly. Assuming after a year I'll get a better deal somewhere else if not with them.

Fuk yis Cornmarket for exiting the market... renewal with them was always fairly decent.

36, full licence, max NCB, S1000R....

Principal - won't quote as i don't have a garage. Bikes above a value of 12k need to be garaged!

Liberty - won't quote as they don't insure the S1KR at all

MCE - won't quote as i don't have a garage

AXA - 857

Carol Nash - quote awaited!

If cage insurance is anything to go by, xpect a 33% increase in premiums next time round.
