Default Choke

I had my little nsr50 running a while ago. Just practicing starting it and see what buttons do what. After a min or two I put back in the choke but the bike cut out. How are u meant to put it back in (slow or what). Also how long are u meant to leave it out for.

A couple of minutes should be enough; you might have to adjust the idle screw.

Ur man told me not too live it out too long and he left it out for about 30 seconds. I put it in very fast. Would that have anything to do with it.

Also anyone know how many miles you would roughly get out of a full tank of petrol on a nsr50. The needle says its empty but when I move the bike sided to side you can hear a nice bit in it.

30 seconds might not enough if the bike is cold, you should hear the rev's getting higher as the bike warms up, when the rev's start to rise put the choke to half way, when the bike has warmed up turn off the choke

30 secs is nowhere near enough- leave choke on- drive her down the road for 2-3 minutes and put it in then!

yep
In the winter, you'll have to leave the choke out longer than in the summer.
