Default spraying with a spraycan HELP

help just finished spraying a tank and few bits today put stickers on polished it looking well went to put petrol in and spilt a bit on the tank and it melted the paint so if anyone has any ideas the paint i used is carplan color match gave it 3 coats of matt black and two coats of laquer turned out really good except for that

I reckon 2k lacquer might work better for you.

Most aerosol paint isn't petrol proof. Some halfords have petrol resistant spray and it's decent but a cunt to wet sand and polish.

Start over again, its fecked. In time the paint will have some resistance to petrol but for at least a few months, be very careful when filling the tank with petrol.

Halfords sell petrol resistant lacquer in a rattle can!

Halfords do a petrol-resistant laquer that seems to work, a good tip is to warm the laquer before spraying it. Good luck.

all sanded and repainted just slide my sex doll across it a few times and fill her with diesel and away i go
