Fz6n vs Bandit vs Hornet

Hiya folks,

Basically i'm looking to upgrade to either a fz6n, bandit or hornet 600, and after reading a plethora of reviews i am still uncertain.
So gentlemen of biker.ie, which one's best in your opinion?

Hornet..best quality, reliability,boring. Most fun, cheapest..bandit....most other stuff or somewhere in between....Fazer.

Wouldnt say they were boring either as above.

Never had a go of a FZ6 though....

Go and drive em all to see which one you like the best theres nothing worse than paying out the money and thinking I should have went for something else, Thats what i did drove the bandit , Hornet and fazer all were on done deal went for the fazer, But its not for everyone . Take your time theres a great choice out there

these questions always end up with people that have a bandit saying get a bandit, people with a fazer say get a fazer and people with a hornet say get a hornet. you'll have to just sit on the three of them and see which one suits you the best

I've rode the three of them, and I always nearly run Hondas...didnt like the Hornet though, too light and upright...defo prefer a Bandit, found the Fazer a bit meh...that said< I know a lad with one and he swears by it, just not my cupán tae

Have you considered a steel frame CBR600F (97/98 model)? great bikes, I'm on my third one

Hornet 600!!! lighter and more powerful than a bandit from what I heard, could be slightly biased seeing as I own a Hornet though...

I had a 2006 bandit 650 and loved it! Very comfortable, good enough on juice, and nice and peppy

+1 my brother had an 09 fz6 before his fz1.Out of the 3 it would be the quickest.Honda-boring....bandit-prehistoric.

Never had a Hornet but had the other 2... preferred the Bandit as found handled better but Fazer was smoother and seemed to want to go and go plus compared to Bandit was great on petrol.As said above try all above and then see what YOU prefer;but I say Fazer.

Ridden all & all good, FZ wold be the most fun, but all depends on yourself. As said, go & try them out yourself & then find the cleanest your money can stretch to

I've had all of the above the FZ6 is my pick as best all rounder, never failed to start used everyday never had an issue with it, the seat is harder than the bandit but everything else is better, handeling, brakes, fuel consumption


(3) hornet 600 - 6 months
(2) bandit 600 - 12 months
(1) FZ6 600 - 2years and counting
