i love the 690's but the only thing is that id say they are a bollix to work on with all the FI and electrics,
my old 660 was just so easy to work on,
or maybe a 625 with the better carb
To view pics on this biker's forum - your post count must be 2 or greater.

still not ruling out the berg though,
that power to weight ratio

660/625 share the same carb.. its the 640 that didnt wasnt it.?.

The 690 is obviously going to be full of electronics and all that..

but put it this way..

Its more powerful.

It gets twice the tank range of your 660.

its got 6 gears.

Its the 2nd gen lc4 engine.. it doesnt feel like a vibrator.. its not as raw.. its well fucking able too.. mental bike.. Id love another just not an option at the moment...

my next will be a 990sm anyway id imagine.. Maybe a DRZ or older KTM for down in Cork just for my Jaunts up the hills in west cork.. thats how the SM is meant to be used (for me anyway)

Course it will be full of electrics.. But they dont give hassle..
