Default Bike trip from irl to europe may

WE are looking for a biker to take the place of one of our friends who came off his bike at week end and broke his collar bone that apart he is ok.Our trip is from Irl across europe ,italian alps,croatia slovenia ,austria ,hungry ,czech republic,slovakia ,.
Back via Germany ,holland,england .2700miles approx ,includes 3 days rest.
Accomadation and ferries booked for £850 minus 200 already paid by our friend.
A cheap and very worthwhile trip by seasoned and well travelled bikers .
.The remaining 5 of us range from 40's and late 50's .

Would you're buddy not be ok in the 5 weeks ??

He should be ok to ride in that time, unless it was a very very bad break. Been there done it.

Did ya not see the age of the riders? 40's & 50's? Us old farts don't bounce back as quickly as we used to.

I'd be so into this trip if I had a bike....but alas. Kinda spendy to hire one for that long. I should buy a bike and leave it in Ireland or England - could have paid for one now with the hire prices I've paid.

done a collar bone in when i was a young lad (late teens) back the sandhills in banna off a mates old mx bike
