I have a scrubbed set of GP Racer D211 NTEC tyres on my ZXR750R for the track day next Monday.
I will not be using tyre warmers and I will be riding the bike to the track. I have read elsewhere that the recommended tyre pressures cold for these tyres would be 31psi front and 21 rear. I'll be in the inters group. Does that sound right? Or would that be best used with tyre warmers? Cheers, A |

Those pressures are spot in but remember that's hot pressures and keep an eye on the pressure immediately after each session as it will change as the day gets warmer

id try to get my hands on a set of tyre warmers if i were you, dunlop is ment to be a great tyre but only when there very hot, esp since its a road bike your on if you were to come off it because of a silly mistake like no tyrewarmers, and then you have to arange gettin collected because your bikes recked, just my opinion bud

Cheers all.
As I said, I used them last year but I ran 33 in the front and 28 in the rear and the rear was chewing up a fair bit. The set I have now I have not been on track with yet, but they were scrubbed when I got them on by a guy who raced a Fireblade. I'll warm them up carefully, but given that the bike is making 106hp at the wheel, which for a K1 is not bad, it's hard going to trouble the tyre! A |

If you had a set of warmers set pressure cold at 32 front 22 rear after say 45mins on warmers check & drop pressure down to 34 front 25 rear HOT..

They were cold pressures...what should they be cold at this time of year when the track is quite cold do you think? |

They seemed to warm up pretty quick last time, so I'd guesss with that they should be OK. Anyway, I'll tell ya tomorrow how I get on! A |
