Default Tyres

I have a set of Michelin Pilot Sporty`s on at the moment. I was loosing up to four pounds of pressure overnight. Went to my mechanic and he eventually figured out the problem. The front wheel is fine but air was escaping between the rim and the tire wall on the rear. The tyres are 90% so he stuck a tube in the back one. My question is this, will I be unable to use tubeless on the back due to the leakage. In other words is the rim banjaxed?

if rim is not buckled or lip or rim is not dented take the tyre off and clean the part of the rim where the bead sits. it's say the paint/powder coat is corroding

yeh what the other lad said, plenty of bead sealer on the area where the air was leaking should solve the problem ! have done it myself many a time when i was dealing with other customers tyres.

just make sure its not a hairline crack on the rim.
tyre sealant also might be a cheap quick fix.
