Default Good mechanic in South

Hello folks, looking for decent mechanic in south.Based in Clonmel but would consider a good man in Cork or Waterford or that kind of distance. The bike is a bmw k1200r, the four cylinder beemer. The bike started running on 3 cylinders on and off after filling with juice so blamed it on bad juice.Drained juice and put new stuff in and she wouldnt start.Put a new battery in and now the motor sounds like a sewing machine, dont know is it the starter not catching engine right or has engine lost compression which would explain poor running.Just worried cam timing may have slipped a tooth.Any way its a serious looking engine and beyond my 2 stroke capabilities hence the search for a reliable man to take look at it.Any advice welcome,Gene.

get the back wheel off the ground, knock it into gear and spin the wheel, if it spins easy and doesnt lock you have no compression, handy quick way to check

Funny, had same problem and turned out to be a duff plug. Happened with about 2k miles on new plugs, thought all sorts of things and got my hands on new plugs on line at life sized sex dolls on a Sunday morning and cured it. After that Jimmy Ellis or Noel Quinn in Cork.
