Default British Moto GP 2012: Advice?

Mornin' all,
So, 'She who must be obeyed' surprised me last night by telling me that she's sorting out our flights and tickets to Brit-land for the Moto GP in June for my breithla. Needless to say I'm pretty happy.

Anyways, been looking at the Silverstone website and it's not very helpful really. So I thought I might ask if any of you header's have ever been and might have information?

Couple of questions so.............
1. We won't be on the bike, I have no intention of renting a cage as I haven't driven one in year's / I like drinking on my holidays. What's the best way to access Silverstone by Public Transport on Race-day? Potentially be in Norwich the night before as my best mate lives there now. However I could stay/get to London or Birmingham if people know of better access/public transport from there at all?

2. What time would you realistically need to be there on Sunday for the best possible day? This is my first ever GP, complete greenhorn here loike........

3. Is there any sort of access pass that allows you to call Stoner a cnut to his face?

4. What are your recommended vantage points for Silverstone?

5. Any other stuff I should be thinking of that I haven't mentioned?

6. Anyone else going this year?

Thanks in advance fella's, appreciate it

Havent been to a moto gp, was at the wsbk last year but I'd imagine its pretty similar.

1. No idea as we rented a deathbox.
2. we were in the parking area for 9am, and there was a steady stream arriving at the track by that time, there is plenty to look at in the infield while you're waiting anyways.
3. WSBK had the option of buying a paddock pass for about 15 notes per day, definitely worth it.
4. Nuffield has a view of 3 corners and also overlooks the run onto the old start/finish straight, plenty overtaking going on here.
5. Bring a small radio so you can tune into the circuit broadcast for live commentary. also you might want to bing food in a backpack cause the prices inside are crazy.
6. Nope, I'll be heading to superbikes in august though, and hitting the haslam race school the following morning.

Bring your wooly hat, scarf and gloves, it can get very cold in the stands, even in June..Take the Free Bus inside the Arena out to the Paddock area and you may get to see some of the GP Riders walking around..You will have to look down from the Over-Bridge on to the Paddock Area, a pair of binoculars will come in very handy, even for watching the Races...Enjoy, it will be a memorable experience...

Its a huge track! Loads going on all the time.
Was there 2010 and 2011. Rented a cage from BHX airport.
Stay in a tent close to the track if your not gonna drive back and forth.
Packed lunch and beer as advised!
Last year was sunny Friday and Saturday and Pissing rain windy day on Sunday. Prepare for that change!!
Camera too!
Enjoy!!
