They are an American re-branded VTR SP 1/2 and make about 130bhp standard, with the full HRC Factory bike making 185bhp when they were in WSB.
Tbh, they wouldn't be competetive in the modern day SS 600 class never mind the 1000 Superbike class!

I love them, beautiful power delivery and easy bike to ride hard! There does be some out at track days and they sound gorgeous!

Not sure how easy race bit are to get for them nowadays either!

do yourself a favour and pick another bike, too heavy and too slow. You would be out manouvered in Monhellhole and outgunned up North when the inline fours get to stretch their legs.

Get a 99 sv650 and bore it to 750 and run it pre inj class .......... now that would be competitive

bit of a knock owa the clutch , otherwise , like a watch ! done clearances a few months ago ,

and as i said 115 on standard downpipes ,

i think that (above post) would have been a 150 brake motor but sure ,, kewl

i suppose any modern ktm would make the vtr f look pretty insignificant

but sure ,

i dont like the f at all as standard , bodywork / look / suspension , etc

but its a great fun engine
