Default Barrel for opening seat on scooter seized

Hey Lads & Lassies,

the barrel that opens my seat (honda innova) to get to the petrol tank has seized.... anyone know how to replace it...where do i start?, how do i get the barrel out?.

BEFORE YA GO BUTCHERING IT ..........spray some wd40 or similar and leave it a while... then try again with key

Yep, unload half a can with that little red straw thingey straight into the barrel,
give it a while and try again with the key.

If that fails then I suppose Slappers idea would be a close second

I've tried that already and it's not working..... have half a tank, so need to get it done fairly soonish.... any ideas on how to do it?

use the wd40 every few hours over the space of a couple of days. Insert the key and jiggle it around each time.

mably try take off fairings and take it off from the inside out if possible

I also started of on a Honda Innova lovely bike hope it works out for you and you get into that tank
