BTw, is it abs servo, abs, or just plain old brakes? And is it a single spark? How much did you pay? Always good to see what people are paying for these 'cos their good bikes and I love mine. Have a hankering for more ponies though...
It has ABS alright, i believe its the standard ABS but cant tell without knowing the year, and looks like single spark model

Turn on ignition - do not start the engine - then slowly and smoothly open and close the throttle fully three times. then start the bike.
You will only have to do this if the throttle potentiometer has forgotten its position, eg if the ignition was left on when you disconnected battery or if you are replacing throttle pot, but on a standard battery change, you won't have to do that

I do, you want it removed altogether? So you want full residual braking? I will have to look at what € it was when I'm at comp in the morning
