Question overflow pipe from carb..

Lads, does the overflow pipe from the carburetor go anywhere? I mean does it fit into something? The Haynes manual just id's it on a diagram.
Just checking in case I messed up

Talking solved....

Well I got that oil leak problem solved and the bike runs now. At least it won't require transporting. And I know a lot more now than I did last week weekend!

I caused the problem but at least the damage wasn't permanent.

I overfilled the oil, which ended up being pushed into the oil filter housing. This in turn blocked the oil filter which caused carbon fouling on the plug.

/oh the shame

Dont worry about it too much, at least there wasnt any expensive damage, overfilling is a shitload better than not enough
