Red face f650 power loss

hiya all i seem to have a spluttering and fight for power from about 4.5 to 5 thou revs
mainly when i throttle up slowly or power down
when i power up fast cant notice any loss , anyone any ideas

I'm not mechanical in any way shape or form, but I know someone with a f650 and when the oil is changed the clutch tends to slip a little for the first few hundred kilometers. Got the impression from him its a known issue of sorts.

Anyway just throwing the idea out there. I'll shut up now until someone with actual first hand knowledge of these things comes along

i might be completely wrong but it is a single cylinder with two spark plugs. Could it be because of one faulty spark plug? This way you don't have enough of 'ignition' to set on fire all the fuel fumes..

someome mentioned balancing the carbs too
