Was looking about at various forums lately and there used to be problems in the UK and Ireland, many reported, getting Aprilia service and non-service parts.
Is that still the case? Never owned one, but have been sorely tempted by Milles over recent years and Tuonos are pretty cool too. A |

aprilia parts are too hard to get and expensive here, back pages in MCN have some good sellers listed for aprilia spares. nice tuono racing 2003 model ohlins suspension and damper and carbon bodywork. lightweight marchesini wheels . beautiful..

There is no such thing as the perfect bike but the early Tuono Factory Racing model with the Ohlins forks, rear shock, damper and carbon everywhere is the one to have.
Very comfortable bike, sensational handling and those Brembo calipers provide incredible feel. About 120 bhp at the rear wheel, more than enough for Irish roads. |

Cheers for all the responses guys.
Not actively looking at the moment, but after seeing a few very nice looking Aprilias, there was an alrm bell in the back of my mind about servicing and parts. Now I know there's a few reputable independent chaps about with experience of the marque, but I had heard of parts being hard to come by or taking ages to get here. It's good to know should I be more than tempted, I can keep the thing in working order! Cheers, A |
