Default Bike wont start :)

Hi Guys

these are the symptoms of my problem.
Bike yamahViagra 535 99'
bike used every day.

Yestarday I couldnt start it on the way back home.
All the lights works fine, when I trying to turn on ignition, some buzzing, (more like fast clicking) noise comming from ignition system (starter??)

Engine doesnt make any attemts to move.
It doesnt seems like battery issue, as I have new one.

Let me know if it seems like a common problem

Thanks a lot.

I heard a similar sound coming from the zx7, took tank and airbox off, started again, fecking spark jumping straight to engine block.

Either a low battery or else a poor starter relay.

Can you get a voltmeter across the battery to test the voltage? Sould be around 12.5volts

after the snow and sleet yesterday have same problem - thought at first engine siezed and starter just locked - freed after a while but an engine that usually starts first tip took 2 min swinging off the starter - same this morning - when going though runs fine - cnut of an xjr400

PROBLEM FOUND - After opening all switchgear and headlamp to spray with water repellant decided to do same with battery - loose positve connection - starts on the button first tip again - tbtg its not mine and I certainly dont want a huge repair bill

I used this battery for about a month so it has been tested alright,
I will try to jump start it from the car. Hope it just a battery but I doubt it
