Helllo all,
I drive a 2007 red and white R1, been off bikes for a while and decided to get back into them. what do ya think of the R1 as a born again after 6 years off?

i meant what do you lot think of the r1 as a way to get back biking after 6 years off bikes.

welcome back.

well if you were on bikes for 30 years and took 6 years off i think you'll be alright. if you were on for 1 year and took 6 off that might be another story

Drove 600 hornet and 600 bandit. I was a bit surprised by the power when i got back on and have been taking it handy on it since. when i get my pics downloaded ill put them up.

Well take it easy Daniel- savage power on tap at 11k revs there! give yerself awhile to get used to it! Sure alot of people drive r1s and never open them up at all.

If you've ridden powerful bikes before you should be able and have the cop-on to ride an R1 with respect, do that and you'll be fine. Pics Daniel, pics man!!!

If you had some powerful bikes before you should be alright, ya cant beat experience.
Maybe it'll all come back to you, and it'll be like you never left the saddle.
