You lads are all wrong, a restricted Sv 650 new shape would be the best way to go.
It's not to tall.
Not over powerfull.
It certainly won't bore you.
It's newer than the cbr250s 400s etc
it's definitley more comfortable than all the above.
And it's a lower insurance group than the 400s.

My only advice is to get at least 3 beginer lessons before you go near your own bike.
The Irish school of motoring does lessons.
Good luck.

I did piss myself laughing at the dyson!!!

Any bike that feels rite when you sit on it is prob good place to start. dont b one of these tw*ts that thinks its all power. your better off riding a bike and gettin the max use out of it than riding something that is far too powerful or heavy for you. Ok not many if any bikers like the garda but in uk u car drive a scooby and the garda are driving a normal family car nothing special but how is it that the numptys in their scoobys cant loose the garda, its coz they think they can drive just coz they have a flashy and powerful car and coz the garda really can drive. AND NO IM NOT A GARDA im just someone who has ridden bikes of different sizes for the last 14 years. my last bike was a 06 blade which i had to get rid of so i could move here. now im here im even thinkin about gettin a lil 250 or 400 that i can have some fun on. Straight line speed isnt everything learn to ride fast round the bends coz that the real place that a bike comes to live
