And yes I have some two wheel experience, just with little power and no gears (I do have gear experience for years in cars). I'm meeting to sellers this weekend, one a CBR125r and the other one a Varadero XL 125. Hence my asking about this here To view pics on this biker's forum - your post count must be 2 or greater. As you advice, I will see how they feel and if I they don't fall through and I keep looking I don't limit myself to 125. Next week I checked out a Honda VT250. So my range is 125-250cc. |

I looked at both bikes today. The CBR was in much better condition and I prefered the weight of it a lot more. Varadero is too big for me.
I'm already falling in love with my new sexy cbr125r. To view pics on this biker's forum - your post count must be 2 or greater. Photos of me with my new bike soon in the "Intros" section To view pics on this biker's forum - your post count must be 2 or greater. |

Hey Everyone,
I'd like to ask if you guys know witch one is more confortable. CBR 125 or Varadero 125 or anything else for that matter but only 125 - 250. Thx JJ |

What height are you JJ? If you're over 6ft then I'd say a Varadero. Comfort has never been an issue for me on mine, and I've driven Dublin-Waterford numerous times over the past year.

the two year restriction still applies after you pass yer test on a 33bhp bike...and while your wondering about bike sizes and power etc. its what your learning and experiencing on the roads in the meantime that counts far more..driving experience and the confidence that comes with it is incalcuably more important than what your driving. having said that have fun and welcome to biker.ie and biking.Enjoy!
