Default Sv crank case repair

I've made a balls of the LHS crankcase cover(not sure what it's called) on the SV. It'll be a while before I can afford to replace it, but is there anything I can get done until then?

Cheers for the offer, just swapped it there.

I thought I could weld in a bolt reversed but was told that it wouldn't be strong enough.
